our STORY
Hi friend! I’m Emmy (she/her), and I’m thrilled that you're here!
This boutique has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl, playing “bride” dress up in little white dresses and plastic heels, and its flame was fanned in 2006 when my own wedding dress shopping experience fell flat. When I got engaged to my now-husband John, I was over-the-moon excited about shopping for gowns and accessories and relished the experience. Unfortunately, I was discouraged by the lack of personal attention, cold formality, and relentless pressure I received as a future bride.
When John and I moved our family to Lincoln in 2010, I cartwheeled into the Lincoln bridal marketplace, ready to make my dream a reality and cater to future brides with genuine attentiveness, curated designer gowns, and a chic and warm ambience to explore wedding looks. Since opening our doors in 2012, we have worked with thousands of the coolest brides ever and have expanded our family of stores to serve anyone looking for the perfect gown for life’s biggest events. We’re thrilled that it has brought you to us and are so excited to be on this journey with you—let’s get started!

SARAH TOWNE
operations managerThe smiling face that you’ll always see at the door. She loves the sunshine and is always trying to bring a little extra light to all she does. She’s the one who is making sure everything is running smoothly and committing every bride’s name, face, and order to her freakishly good memory. She’s the ultimate hype woman; firm, kind, and with an infectious confidence that brides and staff can’t help but absorb.
JESS UNRUH
merchandise specialistAs our primary buyer and merchandiser, she’s our resident trendsetter and always ahead of the curve (Seriously. She was doing it before it was cool). Always up for thrifting, she’s an expert at stretching a budget and a master of all things DIY. Catch her using her styling expertise to curate the beautiful collection of gowns across all our brands and making sure that our presentation is always on point.
ADRIA RENEE
marketing & creative leadCreative, Curious, and just a lil delulu—if it requires an artist's touch or designer's eye, she is the one figuring out how to make it happen, no matter the context. Need a web designer? content creator? custom veil? general contractor? Sure, she’s got this. A huge geek, you'll often catch her speaking in movie quotes or convincing you that yes, you ABSOLUTELY can wear an elven cape for your wedding. Let's make it happen!
ROBIN VOSS
stylist & bridal liaisonAlways ready with a helping hand, she’s the oil that keeps our back-of-house machine running. You’ll likely chat with her ahead of your visit: she’ll want to know all about your wedding plans, style, and budget to set you up for the best possible experience with our organization. She knows the power and confidence that comes with finding a gown that makes you feel beautiful, and she’s ready to help you find yours!
GRACE
stylistAlt. baddie on the outside; soft, earthy, cozy-hobby-collecting-girly-girl on the inside. She’s got a great grounding presence that instantly inspires confidence, and is always ready to go where the journey takes you! A lover of vintage and a crafty queen, you can trust she will always have creative ideas for accessorizing unique wedding vibes.
ALEX
stylistOur resident rocker, pokémon collector, Marine Corps veteran, and a total babe on a motorcycle; she’s deeply cool and wholly unassuming. Always ready to get to work and learn new things on the fly. She is known for building an immediate camaraderie with her brides, so expect to not only find your gown with her, but maybe a new bestie as well.
TAYLOR M.
stylistBetween her work day-lighting as a 4th grade teacher, and being a bona fide horse girl at heart, she knows the value of leading with confidence. The team lovingly calls her Dragon— bold, pragmatic, and just a touch wild (known to rock out when she hears “Pour Some Sugar On Me”), she’ll tell you like it is and empower you to be decisive in your shopping journey.
ESTHER
stylistSoft, sweet, calm, and confident; she leads with a quiet warmth that you can’t help but feel totally at ease with. Incredibly discerning and always ready with a fabulous gown pull, even when it’s something that might feel totally unexpected. A crafty gal too, she approaches any task at hand with care, and a meticulous eye for detail that makes her an asset throughout our organization.
EMILEE
stylistA photographer, pet rescue advocate (looking for a dog?), and track coach; she’s straight-forward, chill, and effortlessly cool. As a lover of vintage and a true creative herself, she specializes in brides who are looking for something unique or with just a bit of an off-kilter nostalgic edge. Trust that she will bring an unmatched ease to your shopping experience that will leave you feeling like the coolest girl in the room.
EVIE
StylistOur bubbly musical theater maven—known to break out into song and dance on occasion, with an infectious smile and an old soul. She’s always up for a challenge and is an expert at navigating large groups and all the emotions that come with this special moment! A storyteller at heart, she treats every bride’s vision with a care and dedication that truly honors their love story.
TAYLOR P.
stylistBold, bright, boisterous, and self-described as a “bit more rough around the edges compared to most,” she brings an undeniable authenticity to all she does. With a serious love for dirt track racing you’ll often find her at the track cheering on her favorite driver—her husband. You can count on her to bring an extra level of joy and celebration to your entire experience at Blush!
JAMIE
stylistOur soft, intuitive queen and an expert at reading the room; she’s the one you want in your corner when the nerves come knocking. She’s here to help you slow down, feel the moment, and trust your instincts. Between her obsession with Bravo TV and day-lighting as a kindergarten teacher she knows exactly what it takes to be the calm in the storm!
RACHEL
stylistKind, patient, and supremely thoughtful, she carries her role as a first grade teacher—providing guidance and encouragement, everywhere she goes. Not one to shy from a challenge, she’s usually first to accept her fate when there’s a great new idea for a reel. A big sand volleyball player, she has an innate ability to rally and willingness to dive head first into new experiences.
