
Every year we strive to be the best we can be and always set goals for ourselves. In the beginning of 2020 we had big goals for the year. The universe had other plans for not only us but it seemed the world as a whole when COVID-19 swept the globe.
In early March, we had to make the most difficult decision to close our store-front to the public. We wanted to make sure that our brides and staff were safe and healthy. With the storefront closed, we stayed busy completing orders. Our Blush Bridal team had to really dig deep and innovate where we could to ensure our brides were still able to get the Blush experience they deserved.
Our staff had to learn new ways to adapt and serve our brides, while not being able to see them in-person. We started offering the Blush At Home package that included a free virtual consultation with a Blush stylist. Brides were able to see our inventory over video chat, and then could try-on up to 5 gowns at home! At home try-ons included Blush Bridal Bling Boxes, filled with hand-picked accessories to help complete the bridal look. We loved being able to still work with brides even if it was contactless and virtual! We had several brides say Yes from the comfort of their own homes!
Blush Bridal finally re-opened in May of 2020, and we hit the ground running! We followed all DHM guidelines and staggered appointments to ensure the health and safety of our brides and staff We added extra sanitation/cleaning measures for our space and our gowns. Even through reduced capacity and accepting less appointments, we were able to serve so many brides! 2020 ended up being the best year we’ve ever had as a store! We are excited to resume “normal” in 2021 and can’t wait to serve even more brides!
